MezzeAprès la soirée Roll’n Roll, voici la Mezze party!

A l’occasion de mon anniversaire, j’avais envie de convier la famille pour des grillades mais souhaitais trouver un thème. Vous vous en doutez… en matière de menus, je ne laisse rien au hasard!

Je me suis laissée tenter par une amie qui me suggérait de faire un barbecue oriental. Après quelques petites recherches sur internet et dans mes nombreux livres de cuisine, je me suis donc lancée dans l’idée de faire des mezze. D’origine lévantine, le mezze- مازة en arabe- est un ensemble de plats servis dans des bols à l’occasion d’une fête.

Le résultat était très coloré et très savoureux et les invités ont beaucoup apprécié. Par contre, j’avais quelque peu sous-estimé le temps de préparation de tous ces jolis petits plats… Résultat, mon amoureux et moi avons passé toute l’après-midi dans la cuisine… Mais qu’est-ce que c’était bon!! L’idéal serait peut-être de s’y mettre le jour d’avant ou de demander à chacun d’amener un mezze.
